            Ken
Catran is a New Zealander whose fiction titles for young adults
include several prize winners, and most have a science fiction focus
(as evident in titles like "Doomfire on Venus" from the
Solar Colonies trilogy and "Space-Wolf"). He has long been
a force on the NZ Science Fiction scene, although his works are
published in Australia by the University of Queensland Press and is
distributed in NZ by Penguin Books. Ken regularly visits schools and
is dedicated to helping young people share his passion for SF.
