| I had high hopes of this book. I like space opera, I like it a lot, but sadly, here I was disappointed. The author simply failed to communicate her world to me, it was too complex, and coming into it in the third book of a quadrilogy, it didn’t make a lot of sense. I guess you had to read the earlier two first. It certainly wasn’t a novel complete in itself – more part of an on-going story. That said… there were some interesting concepts here, and I suspect that it might have worked had there been a bit more of an introduction. Let’s leave it at that. | ||
